Hey!

First off, I’m a Virgo sun, Leo moon, Cancer rising. i.e. I’m sensitive, loud, and always on a strict schedule.

I started writing when I was 10 - fueled by anime, Final Fantasy, and the Elfstones of Shannara books on my parent’s bookshelves 📚. Though life got in the way of writing for the following two decades the stories floating around in my head never went away. Then came the pandemic. Stuck in a new city where I didn’t know anyone, I started writing again and finished my first manuscript in 6 months. It was truly hot garbage 🗑️ and I loved every second of it. I had rediscovered passion and creating art for the hell of it. For the next 3 years I was obsessed. I joined a writers group (shout out to my angels Maya, Viv, Sonia, and Angie 🥰) wrote 3 more manuscripts and several short stories, and finally, met my agent at a conference in New York. My debut novel A Day of Breath will hopefully be on the way soon 🙏🏽.

Outside of writing, I work in marketing in tech, health and wellness, and music. I currently live in Philly where I am part of one of the largest music promoter collectives, 4333 Collective. I also help run an indie record label and co-organize an annual hardcore/punk fest that centers POC musicians called Break Free Fest. (I don’t know the meaning of the word ‘relax’ 🙃.)
